Symbiosis Summer School
I was one of the 20 people to be selected for this 3 week intensive bootcamp with Rahul Mody and Karel Segers
- Learnt about drafting a commercially viable script with deep characters
- Learnt how to incorporate the Hero's Journey and MPR to our stories
- Studied several films and their sequence breakdown
- Studied and incorporated the three different types of stakes for our main character
- Submitted an 8 pager for one of our concepts at the end of the boot camp

Activities and societies: Screen studies
In this three week course, I got an insight into the film industry. Not only did we learn the basics of all the important elements of the filmmaking- filming on Canon DSLR, Editing on Final Cut Pro, Acting and script writing.
We also watched and analysed the shots, camera angels and mis - en - scene of few of Hitchcock's films and short films made by a few film students.
At the end of the course we managed to write, film and edit a 2 min short film.
